English Guest Blog: Wildly Happy Bunny Rabbits

So, let’s go!

Thank you for joining us for this wonderful „By Royal Appointment Guest Blog“ post. This is something we do every Monday and each week we will welcome a different designer from our amazing team, the Royal Stampers.

So this week our guest designers are Barry & Jay from Mitosu Crafts. A huge thank you to them for this project. All the details can be found below. Here’s also a link to Mitosu Crafts website so you can look at other beautiful creations made by them. If you would like to purchase any of the Stampin‘ Up! items used for this project, click on the product photos below. You will be taken to my Online Shop where you can find more information and order craft products 24/7. Enjoy the amazing creativity from the wonderful Barry & Jay and if you have any questions, please drop me a message.

Wildly Happy Bunny Rabbits

The Wildly Happy bunny rabbits are sooooo cute and perfect for any animal lover. We also have the Nine Lives and Happy Tails stamp sets with the coordinating Cat and Dog punches but we wanted to share some more colouring using the Wildly Happy Stamp Set.

The Wildly Happy bunny rabbits were stamped with Versamark on the Whisper White card layer before colouring with the Watercolor Pencils in Basic Black and Basic Gray.

The Versamark on Whisper White was quite faint and slightly hard to see so I would probably use a light ink pad next time.

I concentrated on where the shadows would be and used Aqua Painters to drag and blend the colours out.

The other colours I used were Pacific Point and Old Olive which also comes from the same Watercolor Pencils set. As I went further up the card, I applied the Pacific Point more lightly for the background. This allowed the blending out of the edges with the Aqua Painter more easily.

I have kept the card simple to keep the focus on the bunny rabbits. To finish, I did add random clusters of white dots with the Chalk Marker and finished with the Heart Epoxy Droplets.

Thanks for stopping by again. Until next time, BYEEEEE!
