We normally think about cards when we are talking about casually crafting. But why? Casually crafting is great for gifts. It just takes a few minutes to turn a simple small present into a beautiful one. I love to make marshmallows as a gift, following this recipe. And to make sure your gifts are homemade inside and out, just use the lovely WHAT’S COOKIN‘ stamp set, a punch and your scissors.
To cut the little chef’s hats you need a bit of patience and a little trick. Should your cutting not be the very best (like mine usually is), just use a black felt pen and re-draw the outer lines. And – voila – your cutting will look perfect.
BTW perfect … sometimes you’re making something and you think that something’s missing. Should you ever have this feeling, there is something missing for your taste (also known as the only taste that counts). Same happened to me with this homemade project. In the picture below you see the version without the little hats and you will agree that something is missing. And to add another tip: should something be missing and you can’t figure out what, just add rhinestones.
