Welcome to my entry to the Casually Crafting Designteam Bloghop. Here, I had the required 300 words per blog entry just with the name of this hop and I didn’t even name my entry to the Bloghop: Wal-Liste.
It is maybe a bit mean to use a German pun as a title for an international Bloghop. (And yes, there is something like German puns) And as so often, I simply couldn’t help myself. I properly was carried away by the lovely paper „Whale of a time“ I discovered WAY too late in the annual catalog and I’m still confused why I haven’t seen it earlier.
For both cards, I simply punched out whales with the punch out of the paper. YES, that works and is rather pretty.
For the frist card, I simple cut along the „wave lines“. And then I glued the whales into this openings as if they were jumping in and out the water. I love this effect – really simple and rather effective.
For the sentiment, just take some scraps. It does not have to run over the whole card.
Something similar, I did with the second card as well, btw. But here the scrap paper was black so I got a better contrast.
So in a way this card is even easier than the frist card, as here I simply glued the whales with tombow and dimensionals straight on the paper. And I really enjoy the effect of the happy whales.

Die Koordination der Farben ist das, was Stampin‘ up! ausmacht. Du musst nicht mehr lange durch die Gegend suchen, die Stempelfarbe passt zum Papier, das Papier zu den Bändern und somit auch die Bänder zu der Farbe. Super, oder?
